Please read these Terms of Service carefully as they contain important information about your legal rights, remedies and obligations. By accessing or using the SuperAutoTrader Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
Terms of Service & Refund Policy
(Online Vehicle Rental Booking Services)

1. SuperAutoTrader.com (“SAT”)
1a. SAT facilitates bookings for vehicle rental services. SAT provides online
vehicle rental search and online booking services and does not own or operate
any vehicle rental companies.
2. Vehicle Rental Service Provider (“Supplier”)
2a. Your contract for vehicle rental will be between you and the Supplier. The
terms and conditions of the rental agreement between you and the Supplier are
available on the vehicle/car details page and booking page when you select the vehicle. SAT makes no warranty or representation in relation to any supplier or any vehicle rented by any Supplier. It is the Supplier’s sole responsibility to provide you with a rental vehicle rented on this booking engine. You may be required to sign necessary declaration forms and rental agreements with the Supplier. This is the contractual agreement between the renter and the Supplier and SAT does not involve in the matter.
3. Service Access
3a. SAT endeavours to ensure that the booking system is normally available 24
hours a day, SAT shall not be liable if for any reason the booking system is
unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the booking system may be
suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure,
maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond SAT's control.
4. Refund Policy
4a. If the Supplier is unable to provide appropriate vehicle rental service or
provide any alternative acceptable solutions for the customers at the time when
customers arrive at the company or the pickup location, a refund of the booking
fee (after deducting the necessary online booking financial charges) can be made
to the customer subject to 4b.
4b. In case of customer’s failure to comply with (i) the terms and conditions of the Supplier or (ii) any related legal requirements or (iii) produce necessary documents for verifying identification or (iv) produce any other related true and correct information for a legal booking or (v) any unforeseeable situations/events that cause the unavailability of the vehicle e.g. damage of the vehicle by accidents or any other natural disasters and so on : no refund shall be made.
4c. No Show (i.e. Customer did not show up) : no refund will be made.
4d. Late Arrival : in case that the customer does not pick up the vehicle within 60 minutes following the agreed time, the booking will be considered and handled as “No show”.
4e. SAT reserves the final resolution and discretion on any refund request.
5. Confirmation of Booking
5a. When your booking is confirmed, SAT will issue the booking confirmation
email to you on behalf of the Supplier for each booking, but does not undertake to include charges for additional services or details of the service fees or charges or taxes charged by the Supplier or additional services requested by you at the pick-up/collection point. SAT recommends that you thoroughly check the details of the booking e.g. country, location and period of rental. If there are any discrepancies, you should immediately send an email through our online submission form (“Contact Us”) clearly informing SAT of the exact details of such discrepancy. SAT advises that you read and comply with the rental vehicle provider's Terms and Conditions (which are available on this booking system but may be changed by the Supplier from time to time) upon which the Supplier makes the reserved vehicle available to you upon receipt of the booking confirmation. The Booking Number included on the booking confirmation should be quoted in all enquiries, cancellation or modification of the booking.
6. Amendments

6a. If you wish to amend the booking, you should cancel the original booking and
make a new booking.
7. Cancellations
7a. If you wish to cancel a booking, the only accepted method is through the
Cancellation button in the Booking confirmation email sent to you. Do not cancel
your booking with the Supplier directly as additional fees may apply. It is free of charge to cancel a booking if you cancel the booking Seven (7) days before the rental start date or within Twenty One (21) days from the booking date, whichever earlier. There is no refund for any other cancellation. After free cancellation date, you may be subject to cancellation charge. After free cancellation date, if you cancel your booking 7 days before the rental start date, cancellation charge will be 20% of the rental charge. If you cancel your booking 1 - 7 days before the rental start date, cancellation charge will be 50% of the rental charge. If you cancel your booking on the rental start date or does not show up (“no show”), cancellation charge will be 100% of the rental charge. However, the final refund shall also be subject to the specific terms and conditions of the vehicle supplier.
7b. In exceptional circumstances, it may be necessary for changes to be made to
your booking by us or by the Supplier. In all such cases we will advise you, the
renter, as soon as reasonably possible before pick-up and, if the proposed
changes are unacceptable, you will be offered a full refund. However, in such
circumstances, we shall have no additional liability in respect of any direct or
indirect losses you may suffer as a result of such changes.
8. LIABILITY
8a. In the event of a dispute between SAT and you, our liability to you, if any, is limited to the amount of our introductory service fee (i.e. the deposit minus related online booking payment financial charges) you paid when booking the vehicle.
8b. SAT excludes to the fullest extent permitted by law any warranties (whether
express or implied), as to the quality, completeness, performance or fitness for a particular purpose of (i) any vehicle booked using this booking system and (ii) this booking system and any of its contents, including, but not limited to, any information relating to vehicle rentals contained within this booking system and the technology supporting and provided on this booking system. SAT reserves the right to make alterations to the booking system at any time. The information on this booking system is updated from time to time. By using this booking system you acknowledge that the rental details and all other information including, but not limited to, the vehicle and supplier information relating to the vehicle listings published on this booking system may include inaccuracies or typographical errors.
8c. Any booking you make for vehicle rental on this booking system is made with a Supplier and not SAT. SAT and this booking system only facilitate the making of reservations with the Supplier. SAT is not a party to the contract between you and the Supplier and has no responsibility or liability (directly or indirectly) to any party in respect of the terms of your contract with the Supplier or any problems arising
with the vehicle rented pursuant to that contract or any other problems between
you and the Supplier. On making a booking for a vehicle rental on this booking
system you are bound by and deemed to have accepted the Terms and
Conditions of the relevant Supplier.
8d. The listing of any information or services or link in this booking system is not and should not be taken as a recommendation from SAT or a warranty or
representation that the information or services will be of a certain standard or
suitable for your purpose. SAT shall in no way be liable to you in the event that the information or services are not suitable for your purpose. You should use your own discretion when utilizing the information.
9. NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE
9a. As a condition of your use of this booking system, you undertake to SAT that
you will not use this booking system for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by or contrary to the Terms of Use
10. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES
10a. This booking system may contain links to resources located on servers or
websites operated by parties other than SAT. If you use these links, you leave this booking system/platform (and related websites/channels). Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference and convenience only. The inclusion of hyperlinks on this booking system to other websites or servers does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or servers (including but not limited to material relating to travel information or services) or any association with their operators. SAT does not
control and is not responsible for such websites or the servers or the parties
operating such websites or servers and accordingly SAT accepts no responsibility
or liability for any material contained on those servers or websites, or the accuracy or legality of information contained on other websites or servers. You will need to use your own discretion when communicating and utilizing services from these other websites or servers. If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to this booking system/platform (and related websites/channels), you do so entirely at your own risk.
11. NO LIABILITY IN CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS
11a. Our online payment process is independently operated by PayPal. Your
information is protected with industry-leading security and fraud prevention
systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is never shared with us.
If any authorized charges appear on your credit card or debit card statement for
any card used on this booking system at any time during or after you make your
reservation, conduct your transaction or disclose your card details on this booking system, SAT shall not be liable or responsible in any way in respect of any damage or loss of whatsoever nature suffered by you arising from or in any way connected with said use, transaction or disclosure, subject only to any statutory rights which you may have.
12. DISCLAIMER
12a. This booking system is made available to users as it is and SAT makes no
warranties or representations that (i) this booking system or the technology
(servers, etc.) making it available and supporting it will be without fault or defects or (ii) the information posted on this booking system is free from infection by viruses or anything else with contaminating or destructive properties. SAT accepts no liability for any infection or effects from harmful applications such as, but not limited to, viruses, Trojans, tampering, fraud or theft, error, technical failure, omissions, delay, authorized access or any event which corrupts the acceptable administration, communication and integrity of this booking system.
13. WAIVER
13a. Our failure to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the
Terms of Use shall not be a waiver of them or the rights attaching to any of them.
14. Modification of the Terms Of Service
14a. SAT reserves the right to change the Terms of Service and the contents of
this booking system for any reason and without prior notice and without liability to you, any other user or any third party. This right shall not affect the Terms of Use accepted by you, the user, upon making a legitimate booking or purchase using this booking system. You should check these Terms of Use for any changes each time you access the booking system. The Supplier may from time to time change its terms and conditions (which are available on this booking system) upon which the Supplier makes the reserved vehicle available to you. SAT is not responsible and shall have no liability if the Supplier’s terms and conditions available on this booking system have been or are changed by the Supplier.
15. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
15a. The Terms of Service and your use of and access to this booking system are
governed by the laws of the Hong Kong. The courts of Hong Kong shall have
exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising between you and SAT out of or
relating to your use of this booking system. Use of this booking system is
unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of the Terms of Service including without limitation this paragraph. You agree that no relationship, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and SAT as a result of the Terms of Service or your use of this booking system.
15b. Our performance of the Terms of Service is subject to existing laws and legal process and nothing contained in this agreement shall prevent SAT complying with any law enforcement or governmental authorities requests or requirements relating to your use of this booking system or information provided to or gathered by SAT with respect to such use and SAT shall have no liability in respect of such compliance. Although SAT cannot monitor the conduct of its user's offsite, it is a violation of these Terms of Service to use any information obtained from this booking system in order to harass, abuse or harm other persons, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit or sell to any user or person without their prior express consent.
16. Guaranteed Vehicle
16a. The vehicle you booked is basically guaranteed as the one appeared on the
relevant vehicle listed on the booking system. However, you are advised to check
with the Vehicle Rental Service Provider before booking, and see the Remarks
section and/or the details of the Terms and Conditions of the Supplier.
16b. Two types of vehicle specified can be available for booking : Type (1) the exact vehicle listed/appeared as shown on the “real photos” on the Site; or any part of the vehicles are guaranteed; or Type (2) the vehicle appeared and shown on generic images" (computer-generated images) on the Site with the same Brand/Model/Color/Year,etc. as "or Similar Vehicle/Car in the same class/category”. Please confirm with the Supplier if you have any question about the vehicle. - End -
